I Heart Macro Sunday: Getting Down to BZZZZZZness

There's quite a lot going on in the garden these days!  The number of bees I'm seeing is staggering. Sometimes they even linger to have their picture taken.

Busy!

How this pollination thing works

Have a wonderful day, and don't forget to head over to see Lori at Studio Waterstone and check out the other macro treats!  And if you're in the Santa Cruz area, head on over to Bargetto Winery for the Fine Art Festival, and visit my booth to say hi.  Enjoy your day!

Izzy, I wouldn't say we're one, but we're certainly warming up to each other. This is with the Fuji Finepix, the one I'm not as comfortable with. But as you can see, the macro kicks butt.

Fantastic images Patty - LOVE the first one - I've never seen a bee so close-up before!

Great shots! I think it's so amazing that bees can deal with that much pollen sticking to them and going on with their work. If I had that much stuff stuck to my rear I think I'd be a bit uncomfortable :) Bad enough when static from styrofoam packing peanuts make them stick to you… Love, Love, Love the photos!

Fabulous photos that leave me drooling. I think our grasshoppers eat all the bees. And hummingbirds. And everything nice... :(
